Apple has a funny sense of humour

I recently installed OS X 10.5 “Leopard” and set about reinstalling all my various “haxies” and programs (I like clean installs).

When I connected to the internet, I immediately saw the shared computers in my sidebar.

Apple

I chuckled and nodded approvingly. The BSOD icon for PC computers is an appropriate “truth in jest” jibe at windows.

If you want to see the actual icon, drill down to “/System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/ Contents/Resources/public.generic-pc.icns”

Haven’t seen a BSOD in a long time…. Though the mac commercial “Cancel or Allow” is a VERY accurate description of the default Vista install on my new machine…. Glad I don’t use THAT much.

I have been seeing a lot of WHITE Screens of death lately…. stupid web aps!! :D
